The wineglass as an instrument is often an underestimated. Its shape has direct influence on its sensitive contents. The different grape types and locations with varying acid and tannin content, drinking temperature and vintages require the correct shape to allow the wine in the glass to develop its full bouquet and find its way directly to correct buds on the tongue. We established a classification based on regional traditions and lat are a conflict of terms. For this reason we offers his classification as recommendation, from one connoisseur to another. All crystal glasses have thin-walled bowls so that the glass will falsify the temperature of the wine. The long, delicate stem is not only aesthetically attractive - drawn by the glass blower directly out of the bowl, it prevents the hand from inadvertently warming the contents. Claus Pummer est findings of viticulturists, or wine scientists. In the final instance, however, the choice of glass will remain a question of individual taste. After all, enjoyment and dogmatism.

Apr 04, 2006 - Suites at Market Square High Point
Lambert at the High Point April 27 - May 3, 2006 at Market Square +++ The positive trend prevailing in consumer goods industry at the outset of the year continued to predominate during the Fairs. This year's New York/Frankfurt/Paris spring fairs has notched up a record attendance of more than 7000 visitors coming from US/CAN, which corresponds to a 40% increase. In the final report the fair emphasizes the positive mood predominating the market: The trade business sees the future with optimism. Dealers feel that consumers are finally prepared again to spend their money. According to this evolution, some exhibitors talk about double-digit turnover increases achieved during the fair. Times of cheap, immoderate consumption are over: On the contrary! Conscious buying patterns, which means choosing articles of high-grade quality are all the rage again - a trend that Lambert could perceive as well during the fairs. With plenty of new products we achieved very good turnovers with our regular customers. Besides we got in touch with many promising new customers coming from USA/CAN and we will see you in High Point to continue the postive trade in North America.
Feb 18, 2006 - Architectural Digest Home Design Show
Please visit us at Pier 94 from March 9-12, 2006 12 Ave. at 55th Street, New York City. Looking forward to see you Claus & Jodi Handmade furniture and accessories made of precious natural materials such as the trend material bamboo come in unorthodox shapes testifying to a high quality of workmanship. This is how the high-lights of the new Natural by Design by Lambert collection are going to present themselves. Ethnic, African influences interpreted in a new way are dominating the scene. The newcomers to the collection will form sophisticated combinations with existing products. Spectacular novelty for outdoor use: generously proportioned wicker furniture woven from "Sunloom", a weatherproof, synthetic high-tech fibre presented by Lambert. Black colour accents make for a luxurious appeal in the house as well as in the garden. Perfect expert skills and highest demands relating to quality, design and material are the characteristic features reflected in the articles of the Lambert brand. Natural, authentic materials are transformed into furnishings that convey a clear, individual message, which is quite typical of Lambert. Below please find a survey of the most significant tendencies in the year 2006: trend subject 1: African Lodge The cosmopolitan appreciates the close relationship to nature, the native beauty and the vast land of the African continent. The world of "African Lodge" at Lambert tells us stories of origin and old traditions forming new styles with other world traditions. Sculpture-like furniture such as the solid-wood stool "Cango" or the extravagant table "Modesto" will convey the charm of the ethno-style to our homes. The handmade ceramic line "Kalimera" or the organically shaped wooden bowls "Kampala" make for some exotic accents on the table. Trend materials: solid, tropical woods with handcrafted surfaces and robust bamboo. Hand-made ceramic articles with individual glaze, fine-structured textiles and natural materials such as cotton, linen and silk set the scene. Colours 2006: warm and soft earthy tones, inspired by the African natural landscapes. trend subject 2: Black & white in contrast Shade and light, day and night - the interplay of black and white, light and dark sets the tone. Inspired by dreamlike islands, such as Mauritius and Lamu Island, Lambert presents generously proportioned furniture for indoor and outdoor use radiating the casual elegance of the tropical hotel lounge: extremely comfortable seating furniture and elegant iron furniture. The high-light of this collection is the very large day bed "Sitting Bull" coming in a brandnew, black variant. In warm summer nights, "Agadir" and the "Lumina" torches will make it play centre stage in the glow of their fire. Trend materials: weatherproof, black and natural-coloured Sun Loom, a new synthetic material with a natural woven appeal, which can be obtained from Lambert exclusively in Germany! Black, archaic iron, blackened bamboo, heavy stone vessels, copper sheet with a silver shine, cold-hammered and treated. Natural linen in raw white and contrasting neutral tones. Colours: mat deep black is complemented by dazzling white thus forming high contrasts, combined with different cream, white and silver tones. trend subject 3: Evergreen All nuances of green reduced to the essential reflect nowadays' desire for clarity and continuity. The reduction of things is what makes "Evergreen" rich. This subject is based on values like honesty, authenticity and love of nature. The appeal of this furniture and these objects does not arise from their extravagant shapes or the finish of their surfaces, but untreated materials, careful handcrafting and natural colours give them their authentic charm. Trend materials: natural, treated wood, wickerwork coming in light tones or in slightly mingled look, greyish green, solid slate. Light-weight aluminium and bright enamel, smooth, cool cotton in clear plain colours. Colours: all nuances of green, ranging from sedge green to golden olive, kiwi, pistachio and ocean green, the whole complemented by soft natural tones.
